Digital Broker Tools

Independent insurance brokers relied on manual procedures to create offers and policies. Baloise wanted to create the best conditions for its independent brokers — and that meant giving them digital tools built for their daily work.

Decennale app

Brokers create offers and policies in a dedicated digital app, which has become popular across Baloise’s broker network.

Easier leads

Independent brokers reach new leads more easily, which gives them a competitive advantage in winning and serving clients.

Growing adoption

Over the years, the platform has expanded steadily as an ever-larger number of brokers adopted it for daily work.

What we did

Custom apps, including the Decennale tool, that let brokers create offers and policies digitally and access leads more easily.

Built around the needs of insurance brokers, the apps simplify and automate procedures that used to be manual. Brokers work from a back office that keeps policyholders, quotations and subscriptions together, while new requests arrive from customers who choose them as their broker in Baloise’s online insurance journey.

How it works
  1. A customer picks a broker in Baloise’s online journey and requests a free, tailor-made offer
  2. The broker finds the client in the back office, or adds them as a new policyholder
  3. The broker prepares the offer and the policy digitally, in apps such as Decennale
  4. Quotations and subscriptions are followed up in their own views in the back office
Key capabilities

Policyholder management

Brokers search, add and edit policyholders in one list, with company number, township and preferred language on every record.

Quotations & subscriptions

Dedicated views keep each broker’s quotations and subscriptions next to the policyholders they belong to, ready for follow-up.

Lead intake

Customers who pick a broker online submit their contact details, so each request reaches the broker ready to act on.
